China has just taken the internet to a whole new level with the world’s first 10G broadband network, launched in the high-tech city of Xiong’an.

Powered by Huawei and China Unicom, this 50G-PON tech promises blazing-fast speeds that could redefine connectivity, from instant movie downloads to lag-free cloud gaming.

Xiong’an, a futuristic metropolis 70 miles southwest of Beijing, is the country’s testing ground for cutting-edge tech, dreamed up in 2017 under President Xi Jinping’s vision.

Samsung’s upcoming tri-fold smartphone, teased at the Galaxy S25 launch event in January 2025, has already drawn plenty of attention—though not all of it positive.

A recent leak from X user @PandaFlashPro suggests this premium device might be stuck with a sluggish 25W charging speed, a letdown for a premium foldable phone expected to push boundaries in other aspects.

Honor has launched yet another phone in China. The X70i that has gone official is the fourth smartphone this month after the Honor Power, Honor X60 GT, and Honor GT Pro.

While these are powerful devices equipped with high-end Snapdragon chipsets, the X70i is budget offering equipped with a Dimensity chipset.

Here’s a look at the specifications, features, and price of the device.

In a move that could reshape the global semiconductor industry, China’s Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) has reportedly pulled off 5nm chip production without using extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography.

Instead, SMIC achieved this using older deep ultraviolet (DUV) tools, paired with a highly complex process known as Self-Aligned Quadruple Patterning (SAQP).

Google‘s latest Pixel 9a has just passed through DxOMark, and its official review is finally out.

Like the rest of the Pixel 9 series, it has managed to achieve a decent score in both the camera and display departments.

In the camera testing, the Search engine giant’s Pixel 9a achieved a score of 153 points. This allowed it to achieve a global smartphone ranking of 33, although it managed to take the 1st position in the high-end segment.
