Xiaomi is preparing to unveil its next generation of flagship smartphones soon.
While many were expecting the Xiaomi 16 series to be the latest premium phones, the company just announced that its new flagships will be from the Xiaomi 17 series. But with these new devices, many are seeing some odd similarities with Apple’s latest iPhone 17 series. So here is every direct “inspiration” Xiaomi has taken from Apple.

 Apple is looking to move past Bluetooth’s limitations with a new wireless protocol that debuts alongside the iPhone 17 series. The feature, called Spatial Relay Audio-Visual Sync (SPR AVS), is designed to deliver lossless audio and near-instant responsiveness across Apple’s devices. According to reports, SPR AVS keeps latency under 10 milliseconds, a level that makes wireless audio viable even for gaming, video editing, and music production. |  Xiaomi has confirmed that its new pair of open earbuds will soon be sold worldwide. The earbuds were first introduced in June during the Mix Flip 2 and Redmi K80 Ultra launch event in China, where they were called the Open Earphones Pro. Outside China, they will be released as the OpenWear Stereo Pro in beige and grey color options. |
 In a surprising turn of events, Xiaomi announced that it is skipping the Xiaomi 16 series and jumping straight to the Xiaomi 17 lineup. While we’ve already covered various rumors regarding a bold new redesign on the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, the company has finally offered an official look at the top flagship model, confirming the new cover display. This confirmation came after Xiaomi’s official Weibo account changed its profile picture for the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. |  OnePlus 15 is rumored to get a major design overhaul, but a new render that surfaced on Weibo suggests the company might be playing it a little too safe. The leaked image shows a phone that looks less like a fresh OnePlus flagship and more like a close cousin of the iPhone. The resemblance is so striking that it’s hard to believe the company signed off on this design. The source of the leak isn’t one we’re familiar with, so it’s worth taking the image with a healthy dose of skepticism. |
