A recent report that popped up over the weekend that revealed Huawei is close to achieving 100% domestic smartphone production.

A teardown of its latest Huawei Pura 70 flagship revealed most of the components in the new device were sourced locally. Only the chip and the main camera on the Ultra model relied on foreign technology.

As Huawei and China keep developing chip technology, there is a possibility that in the coming years, Chinese brands could develop advanced chips locally.

HMD seems to be bringing back the iconic Nokia 3210 that was a hit in the late 1990s; but this time with modern upgrades.

A leaked poster shows the phone in a cool blue color. While its body shape resembles the Nokia 6310, the phone’s exact dimensions are still unclear.

WhatsApp threatens to shut down its services in India if it is forced to compromise its end-to-end encryption. The messaging giant and Meta (parent company of WhatsApp) filed a plea at the Delhi High Court challenging India’s 2021 IT rules for social media intermediaries. Their primary concern is the requirement to identify the initial source of information and share it with the government.
