Huawei has officially entered the foldable laptop category.

The company yesterday unveiled the MateBook Fold Ultimate Design, its first commercial notebook with a folding display. The device unfolds to reveal an 18-inch screen with a 3.3K resolution in a 4:3 aspect ratio, yet comes in a portable form factor.

But the Fold is notable in more than one way. It’s also the first to debut with in-house HarmonyOS for PC with its own chip inside.

Google is set to kick off its annual developer conference, Google I/O 2025, on May 20. The two-day event will take place at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, and will focus on the company’s latest software innovations.

The opening keynote will begin at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 10:30 PM IST on May 20. Viewers can watch the livestream on Google’s official I/O website or YouTube channel.

Infinix appears to be chasing the thin-phone trend — and if the latest leak is accurate, it may soon launch the world’s thinnest curved-screen smartphone.

The upcoming Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ reportedly measures just 5.95 mm in thickness, putting it in the same league as Samsung’s premium Galaxy S25 Edge, but at a far lower price point.

Xiaomi officially announced its self-developed XRing 01 a couple of days ago, marking its entry into the smartphone chipset segment.

After years in the making, this chip marks a significant milestone for Xiaomi, positioning them as the fourth global smartphone brand and the second in China to develop its own System on Chip (SoC).

So here’s everything you need to know about this proprietary chipset.

Most of the flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite are already official.

So, if you’re looking ahead to what’s next in the Android performance race, Qualcomm just gave us a date to circle on the calendar.

During the Computex 2025 keynote, Qualcomm president and CEO Cristiano Amon announced that this year’s Snapdragon Summit will take place in September in Hawaii.

You probably know what to expect from this event.
