![]() The bots that quietly map the internet—the unseen engines behind search—are starting to shift the balance of power online. For decades, Google’s web crawler set the pace for how information was discovered and indexed. But that dominance is now being challenged by AI-focused crawlers, including those from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Meta, which are quickly expanding their reach across the open web. According to new data from Hostinger, OpenAI’s GPT bot has become the most active web crawler. | ![]() Xiaomi has shared its latest weekly update on HyperOS, highlighting the issues being fixed and those still under review. This week’s report confirmed that the error message pop-up caused by the Xiaomi Account app has been fixed through a cloud service update. The problem had affected all devices but has now been resolved. Another issue involving slow charging on the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G has also been addressed. |
![]() Huawei’s next flagship lineup, the Mate 80 series, could arrive as soon as November, according to a new leak from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The post claims that the standard Mate 80 will come in black, white, and turquoise, while the entire Mate 80 lineup has been tentatively scheduled for release next month. Alongside the smartphones, Huawei has reportedly filed for a new 2-in-1 tablet release in the same month. It will be available in Moonlight Silver and Space Gray. | ![]() The foldable phone trend has been thriving for years without Apple in the mix, but fans hoping for the company’s long-awaited entry might have to wait a little longer. Fresh reports suggest that Apple’s first foldable iPhone could be pushed back to 2027, with key engineering hurdles still being ironed out behind the scenes. According to a research note from Japan’s Mizuho Securities, cited by Korean outlet The Elec, Apple is still refining the hinge and display structure for its foldable model. |
