London-based Nothing recently unveiled its budget-range Nothing Phone (2a) in many markets, including India. At launch, the device was riddled with performance and camera issues, however, nothing managed to fix the majority of them with multiple updates.

That being said, the infamous “green line issue” has now reared its ugly head on the Phone (2a).

OnePlus has released the Android 15 Beta 1 update for OnePlus Open, and OnePlus 12. While Android 15 may not bring major improvements, it’s definitely worth trying out. Android 15 brings minor UI changes and security enhancements, though.

Android 14 was named UpsideDownCake, and Google’s new operating system, Android 15, is named Vanilla Ice Cream internally. Google continues its tradition of releasing Android versions with sweet names.

SMIC has been a key manufacturer for Huawei‘s Kirin chips, such as the Kirin 9000S and 9010 (inside Huawei Pura series). Both of these SoCs are manufactured on a 7nm process. However, the foundry was said to be developing an even more advanced 5nm chip production process. 

New reports from Business Korea and Hankyung now suggest that SMIC has successfully achieved this milestone. That means their 5nm process is now ready for chip manufacturing.

Realme is to launch the GT 6T smartphone in India with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. The Indian version of the Realme GT 6T seems to offer better performance and faster charging than its China-only sibling.

Poco has officially confirmed the launch of its upcoming Poco F6 smartphone in India. Scheduled for May 23rd, the phone will be the first in the country to boast the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

Thunderobot has announced a dual-display mode gaming monitor, the Silver Wings. The Silver Wings is a unique gaming monitor that can deliver 4K @ 240Hz as well as 480 Hz at a resolution of 1080 pixels. The Thunderobot Silver Wings is a premium gaming monitor comparable to similar models by ASUS and LG.

Some images of the upcoming Anbernic RG Cube retro gaming handheld have emerged ahead of its official launch. Although Anbernic has not officially announced the RG Cube yet, the images of the Anbernic RG Cube highlight some similarities between the product and the Powkiddy RGB30 and ZPG A1.

BYD unveiled its newest offering, the “Shark” pickup truck, at a press conference held in Mexico on May 15th. The Shark sets its sights on the American and Australian markets, with the possibility of a future launch in China yet to be confirmed by officials.
