One of the core applications of AI in smartphones today is AI-powered photo editing. Aside from the object removal feature, upscaling and enhancing is also one of the use cases of AI here.

While our phones already pack ultra-high-resolution sensors, the feature could enhance any photo you download from the internet or have on your computer, which makes it a great feature to have.

In the latest news, Honor has brought old Manchester United photos back to life using its AI upscaling feature.

Samsung’s foldable future might not be as Exynos-powered as some had hoped. Despite reports suggesting that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 could ship with the Exynos 2500, new information indicates that yield issues will likely keep Samsung’s latest in-house chip off the company’s flagship clamshell foldable.

Instead, the Flip 7 is now expected to launch with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, the same chip found in the Galaxy S25 series.

Xiaomi has officially confirmed key photography details of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra through newly released promotional posters.

The smartphone, set to launch in China on Feb. 27, is expected to push mobile imaging capabilities further. In different markets, this phone will take on other “Ultra” branded flagship phones, such as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Vivo X200 Ultra, and Oppo Find X8 Ultra.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy S25 series with very few changes compared to their predecessors, at least when it comes to hardware. The base and plus models are almost the same as the S24 models, with the biggest difference in appearance being the new color options.

But this isn’t the case for the Ultra model. While it’s also very similar to its predecessor, it has one meaningful change: the rounded corners.

Your phone’s screen is the most vulnerable part of the device, and one accidental drop can lead to a cracked, scratched, or shattered display.

Screen protectors add an extra layer of defense, but with so many options available, picking the right one can feel overwhelming. From tempered glass to liquid coatings, there’s no shortage of choices.

So, which one is best for your phone? Let’s break it down.
