Apple just unveiled its latest software developments — from new names to a Liquid Glass design — and it caught the attention not only of its users but also of its biggest Android rival: Samsung.
In fact, Samsung didn’t just watch from the sidelines — it joined in with mockery, calling out Apple’s “familiar” designs and underwhelming AI features. “Customizable apps? Floating bars? That sleek glass UI? Looks… familiar 🤔,” reads a post from Samsung Mobile US on X.

 Vivo is all set to announce the Vivo X Fold 5 foldable phone this month in China. Today, Han Boxiao, Vivo’s Product Manager, shared the periscope telephoto camera samples of the phone and addressed the common belief that large foldable phones must compromise on camera capabilities to remain slim and lightweight. Boxiao revealed that the upcoming Vivo X Fold 5 breaks this stereotype by offering top-tier imaging performance without sacrificing design. |  Xiaomi’s smartphone marketing head, Wei Siqi has officially started teasing the MIX Flip 2, expected to be the company’s first foldable release this year. In a recent Weibo post, she shared that President Lu Weibing had held a discussion with fans of small foldables to understand user expectations. While the company has no plans to launch the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4’s successor this year, the Mix Flip 2 clamshell foldable is expected to break cover later this month. |
 Samsung is building anticipation for its next-generation foldables. A new official teaser hints that the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature a dramatically slimmer and lighter design, alongside improved durability. The teaser doesn’t reveal everything but sets the tone for what could be a major step forward in foldable design. |  Honor is reportedly working on the Magic 8 series of flagship phones for the Chinese market. It is speculated that flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will break cover by the end of September in China. Therefore, the Magic 8 series, which is expected to feature the said chipset, is also expected to debut in September. |
