Oppo and Vivo are preparing to launch their next “Ultra” flagship models, with the Oppo Find X8 Ultra and Vivo X200 Ultra expected to debut in China during Q1 2025.

However, a tipster claims that these two devices will not be officially sold outside of China. If the rumor proves true, international customers eager for the best that Oppo and Vivo have to offer will be left with only the Pro models of these devices—the Oppo Find X8 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro.

According to a new rumor, leading smartphone manufacturers like Xiaomi, OnePlus, and Realme along with their sub-brands Redmi, iQOO are reportedly considering a strategic shift away from Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for their flagship devices next year.

The Xiaomi 15 series has reportedly claimed the top spot among newly launched flagship Android smartphones in China, with an impressive 1.3 million activations in just a few weeks.

Samsung is expected to unveil significant upgrades to its foldable phone lineup in 2025, with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 set to offer wider screens than their predecessors. This upgrade could have far-reaching implications not just for the devices’ usability but also for their performance, as a larger form factor could accommodate a bigger battery.

OnePlus is gearing up to introduce its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, to the Indian market. The device’s landing page on Amazon India has already gone live, offering a glimpse into its key features. Unlike the Chinese variant, the Indian OnePlus 13 will run on Android 15-based OxygenOS 15.
