Google is shelling out an “enormous sum” to Samsung to pre-install its Gemini AI app on Galaxy devices, a move revealed during an antitrust trial with the US Department of Justice.

This deal, echoing Google’s past payments to secure its search engine’s dominance, has raised eyebrows as it’s been flagged as illegal twice before.

With Gemini front and center on Samsung’s latest flagship phones, the DOJ is worried Google is tightening its grip on both search and AI markets.

According to a new consumer survey from Counterpoint Research, there’s a real appetite for compact smartphones that don’t cut corners on performance.

Ahead of the official launch of the OnePlus 13T on April 24, OnePlus China President Li Jie has taken to social media to unveil key details about the phone’s display.

According to his statement, the OnePlus 13T will bring several first-in-industry display features to the compact smartphone segment, continuing OnePlus’s strategy of pushing flagship-level hardware into smaller form factors.

Amazfit has officially launched its Active 2 smartwatch in India. We previously praised this wearable for offering solid features at a relatively low price.

That is, in markets like the US and Europe, where it starts at $99 and €99, respectively.

But on first glance, the Indian pricing seems drastically higher.
