Xiaomi may finally be ready to equip its flagship Xiaomi 16 with a coveted periscope telephoto lens. This long-awaited addition could significantly bolster the phone’s competitive edge, especially in the increasingly crowded premium smartphone market.

The news comes from popular tipster Smart Pikachu, who revealed that Xiaomi is currently exploring the integration of this camera tech into the upcoming device.

Redmi has officially confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 4 will debut in China on Jan. 2, 2025. It will debut as the world’s first phone powered by the Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed the design of the smartphone.

The Redmi Turbo 4’s rear camera module adopts a vertical 50-megapixel dual-camera setup with red accents.

Xiaomi has launched its latest 20,000mAh 22.5W power bank with a built-in cable in the Chinese market. It is priced at 129 yuan ($18) and will be available for its first sale on January 2 at 10:00 AM.

The power bank features a massive 20,000mAh battery capacity powered by two 10,000mAh lithium-ion cells. These cells deliver an effective rated capacity of 12,000mAh (5V/3A) and an energy rating of 74Wh.
