Xiaomi has extended the recall of its 33W Power Bank 20000mAh (Integrated Cable) to global markets after first announcing it in China.
The recall applies to model PB2030MI, manufactured between August and September 2024. Xiaomi says a small batch of these power banks used the 126280 version 2.0 battery cell, which may overheat under certain usage conditions and pose a fire risk.
Although the number of incidents is limited, the company decided to recall the affected units to maintain safety standards.
