A recent Bloomberg report says Xiaomi is developing a new model that will take the shape of a compact SUV. The report claims that Xiaomi has compared its upcoming model to the Tesla Model Y, and other sources have confirmed this claim.

It is expected that the new Xiaomi compact SUV will build on the innovative aspects of the SU7, including its exciting infotainment architecture.

According to a New York Times report, OpenAI used over a million hours of content from YouTube just to train Sora. In a recent interview, Google CEO, Sundar Pichai revealed that he will sort out this issue if the allegations turn out to be true.

“Look, I think it’s a question for them to answer. I don’t have anything to add. We do have clear terms of service,” noted Sundar Pichai upon being questioned about whether the matter was a violation of Google’s terms and conditions. “And so, you know, I think normally in these things we engage with companies and make sure they understand our terms of service. And we’ll sort it out,” he added.

Huawei has unveiled the Children’s Watch 5 Pro, the successor to the Children’s Watch 4 Pro. The new Huawei Children smartwatch is the first to feature offline positioning 2.0, which allows the device to be located even in the absence of a mobile network. Even when the device has been turned off for up to five days, it can still be located due to the offline positioning feature. The smartwatch is the first to pass the Children’s Safety Guardian Certification in China.

Xiaomi has announced its 6A USB4 braided high-speed data cable in China. The Xiaomi 6A USB4 cable can deliver transmission speeds of up to 40Gbps and supports 240W fast charging. It can achieve up to 8K video transmission at a 60Hz refresh rate.

The new Xiaomi data cable is a versatile and durable cable that will guarantee seamless transmission of any data or media content. The model is available for pre-order in China for 99 yuan ($14).

Apple announced a whole bunch of accessibility features set to arrive later this year. This update focuses on empowering users with disabilities across iPhones, iPads, and CarPlay. A groundbreaking addition is eye tracking. Users can now control their devices entirely with their eyes using built-in AI. This eliminates the need for physical interaction and opens doors for individuals with limited mobility.

The H30 Ultra Mix claims a number of industry-first cleaning functions. It offers a dual-mode self-cleaning technology with 100°C and 75°C boiling water. It reportedly achieves a stain removal rate of 100%, and a germ removal rate of 99.9999%. The noise it creates is similar to that of a home appliance fan.

The Sony Xperia 10 VI continues the tradition of top and bottom bezels on the tall 21:9 aspect ratio screen. It features a 6.1-inch Triluminious OLED display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. There is Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The smartphone is IP68-certified dust and water-resistant. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. 

In the past, Apple has touted iPads as laptop replacements. This blurs the line between the company’s tablets and laptops. Unlike iPads, MacBooks lack a touchscreen and versatility. Now, Apple’s VP of iPad and Mac Product Marketing has revealed how both devices compare and if the Cupertino-based tech giant will add touchscreen support to its laptops.
