Xiaomi has launched a special “Baby Care Edition“ of its smart camera in China. The camera caters to the needs of a new parent, providing a comprehensive monitoring solution with intelligent features, prioritizing both peace of mind and privacy.

The device is actually very useful for parents to ensure the baby is safe and sound. It comes with cry, cough, and sound detection, alerting parents to potential issues immediately. Additionally, users can set up virtual “play areas” within the Mi Home app, receiving notifications when their baby enters or leaves these designated zones.

Google Phone app is getting a strange update that might leave you scratching your head. A beta version of the app, reveals plans to add “Audio Emojis” which are essentially sound effects users can play during calls.

These “Audio Emojis” come in six flavors: clapping, laughter, crying (represented by a trombone sound), celebratory noises, a drum sting, and yes, even a fart sound. You can access these buttons during a call through the overflow menu or a small flag at the bottom of the screen.

OpenAI is giving users more power over their ChatGPT experience with a recent update focused on data control. Previously, users used to complain about the absence of a mode where their conversation history was private, or nonexistent at all.

This update, however, addresses not one, but two key features: Full Chat history access for users who opt out of sharing their data, and an incognito mode called Temporary Chat.
