Xiaomi's commitment to large foldables remains steadfast, at least according to the latest rumors.

Although the Mix Flip 2 was officially announced last month (our hands-on here), the company did not announce a large form factor foldable at the event. In fact, it is expected that Xiaomi will skip this form factor in 2025.

The latest rumors suggest that there will be a new Mix Fold model next year, with significant upgrades and an improved aspect ratio.

Nothing is offering significant discounts on its newly launched Nothing Phone 3 in India.

The company is offering discounts (multiple) via bank discount on Flipkart as well as an exchange bonus in order to lure customers into getting the new device.

While this might not be a very straightforward price cut, for those who were shy of getting the Phone 3 due to its hefty price tag they can finally buy it at a discounted price.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7, unveiled on July 9, is not just about sleek looks and high-end specs—it’s also turning heads for its durability. In a recent YouTube video, the foldable flagship was put through a series of extreme challenges to see how well it can hold up in tough conditions.

This wasn’t your JerryRigEverything durability test, but rather some real-world extreme challenges.

Like the phone had to endure 12 hours in a frozen block of ice, a 30-minute dunk in a fast-moving river, among other things.

Paypal has decided to integrate UPI into its new global payments platform.

This may be a revolutionary move by the company for the India market, allowing Indian customers make international payments using the UPI platform.

UPI has become synonymous with digital transactions, and bringing support for the platform could be a potential game changer for Paypal in the coming years.

Drone maker DJI is trying something new—robot vacuum cleaners.

Through an official announcement on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, DJI has announced its entry into the home appliance segment after dominating the drone and gimbal market over the past few years.

The robot vacuum called Romo is expected to leverage DJI’s core technologies in visual navigation, object avoidance, and intelligent path planning.

Launches on August 6 in China.
